So there is only one day of vacation left. Honestly as sick as it sounds, I'm ready to go back to work... how the hell do you people do it... I mean seriously, a whole week off? Who came up with that idea? Don't get me wrong, the first two days were great... slept in a bit, did some consulting, but now I'm on day 4. What did I do today? Hmmm... well let's see, slept till 11am... and I wasn't even hung over. Then I get up... have some breakfast, then wait around and go have some lunch... then come home and I've been watching movies ever since... yes, some would say, hey Trevor, why don't you just do something, well what the hell am I supposed to do? Anyway, as you can see, nothing for me to do... so I'm updating the blog, not once, but twice in the same 24 hour period. Anyway, hope all are well.

MySpace - I know... but it kept calling my name
Okay,
So I have started to get a bit bored in my week off, and I finally broke down and joined the MySpace thingi... so yes, I now have a MySpace, but no worries... I plan on keeping this blog, but you should all go to my MySpace page and if you havn't already joined DO IT!!! I need more friends on my page... as yes, that is the most important part of being on MySpace is seeing how much crap you can slam on your homepage and how many friends you have linked to your page... I'm telling you, if I didn't have a full-time job, I think I would become a MySpace junkie as it is just that depressingly addictive... anyway, hope all are well... here is the link to my MySpace page... http://www.myspace.com/tman1982a
Talk to ya all later!!! Trev

Escape from Corporate America
So it has been a little over a year now working in the green-tinted glass oval downtown. What a year it has been. I must admit, I have finally accepted the fact that I'm a blue-collar corporate American. And after all that, I'm taking my first full weeks vacation, and not just the first at Block, but the first ever.
I have to admit, I almost changed it to just a day or two, but what the hell, the hours have built up, and I'm taking a whole 40 of them. Oh, and speaking of the job, found out Friday that I got a raise, effective immediately. Was very excited, as it has been a year since my last one.
No big plans for the week off. Do have a couple of consulting jobs scheduled, slowing building up the client base one client at a time. Was going to take a vacation and travel someplace for the week, but just couldn't decide on a destination that would be fun with just me. Maybe next spring, as there are tons of places I'd like to go, just not enough time to plan a trip for 1.
Jason seems to think I should do a couple of things around the house (again, his house), like paint the ceiling in my room, but, ya know, I just don't think that is going to happen. Not just the fact that I despise hard labor, but painting, I mean, I'd honestly rather pick up shit in the yard than paint. The kitchen is coming along great, he has been painting and putting up crown molding all weekend. I'm telling you, I never thought he would have as much accomplished without hiring a contractor has he has.
So for those that don't know, Trevor is back in school. Yes, that is right, a real college. I'm doing the online Distance Learning program through University of Phoenix. So far I'm a week into it and I LOVE IT! I actually just finished and turned in an assignment. The greatest part is I can work on it at anytime during the day, at my leisure. I'm very excited about the whole thing. If things go as planned, I should have my associates in the spring of 2008. We'll see where things go from there.
Well, it is getting late, and I have my first consulting appointment early tomorrow morning. Hope all are well! Love you all!

Trevor Goes to Manhattan, No, Could It Be?
Okay, so it has been awhile since I have updated the Wine Glass Diaries, I admit, but life just goes to fast sometimes... I know, excuses, but hey, that's what I do best. So anyway, the latest set of pictures are from my one-night stay in Manhattan with my K-State girls. I must say, aside from myself, they are the hostests with the mostests!
I arrived in Manhattan to be greeted by my one and only Ginger, Crissy. Who was running behind just like me, and the main clue was the fact that her hair had more clips and curlers in it than Manhattan has hicks... I know, that's a lot :-)
Tracy shortly showed up after I arrived and I chatted on the stairs as I awaited their the completion of their grooming rituals before we went out. We had a great dinner at Old Chicago where Emily and her friend Heather (I think, if I'm wrong, sorry) joined us for some drinks. There were also several Army boys party'n at the bar, which Crissy was able to snap a photo of, not all that cute, but they sure did try...

As you can see, Heather always keeps her eyes closed when cameras take pictures of her, trust me, I have like 10, all the same... I was tempted to just paint eye balls on her eye lids, but she is just as cute with her eyes closed as she is with her eyes open... Tracy was taking this picture, so she isn't in it visually, but totally there in spirit... oh, and speaking of Tracy, boy was she lit when we left, I have another picture of the two of us, but a little too drunk to post... anyway, the evening was well worth the drive to cattle town, and I'm told everyone else had fun as well. To my ladies of K-State, thank you for a great weekend. Hope all are well...

After a few drinks at Old Chicago we headed back to Crissy and Tracy's place so they could complete their grooming rituals for Part 2 of the evening. Eric (Crissy's boyfriend) was doing the sound for a band that his uncle plays in, so we were planning on going out and watching them play (and do some Boy watching of my own of course). And boy did I watch...
This particular hottie spent about 5 minutes trying to light our outdoor heater that hung above our heads while we sipped (well I chugged of course) our drinks. And what service, I must say, yummm yummmm... gotta love these college boys, dumb as a doornail but hot as a cattle prod... and a good bartender as well...
